Is your heart tired, your head overloaded...? I have the solution for you, my sister.
There are days when everything goes too fast.
The phone, notifications, responsibilities, mental load…
And in the midst of all this, a vague feeling: the heart is tired .
Many women feel this deep need to refocus, without always knowing how to respond. It's not a lack of faith. It's not a failure. It's an inner calling .
🌿 A fatigue that isn't visible
It's not physical fatigue.
It is that of the heart and mind.
Being present for one's family, work, and commitments... while also trying to preserve one's spirituality, can sometimes create a disconnect. We do a lot, but we no longer have time to pause .
And yet, in Islam, a return to calm, to sakina , is essential.
"It is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find peace." (Quran, 13:28)
🌙 Refocusing doesn't mean stopping everything
Refocusing is not about running away from the world.
It's about creating a space , however short, to breathe.
This can involve:
-
a moment of silence
-
a manual activity
-
a repetitive gesture that soothes the mind
Simple but meaningful activities allow the heart to slow down without guilt.
🖌️ When gesture becomes soothing
Painting, for example, can become much more than a hobby.
When the movement is slow, guided, without pressure to achieve a result, the mind naturally calms down.
And when the final image is an iconic Islamic location , this moment also becomes a spiritual reminder.
Sometimes, refocusing simply begins with granting yourself that right .
